ABOUT

Antimicrobial Education is Antimicrobial Stewardship

We started working on the first edition of the Children's National Antimicrobial Education Guide back in 2018 as a tool to teach trainees about the effective and responsible use of antimicrobials.

Antimicrobial stewardship is aimed at improving infection cure rates while reducing treatment failures, antimicrobial adverse effects, and antimicrobial resistance.

We've now moved into a digital platform here at Children's National Antimicrobial Education to further spread education about sound antimicrobial use and to help train the antimicrobial stewards of the present and future.
